Disconnecting the LED Board
The connection is very tight, and it's best to push it out with some force.
- There are shoulders on each side of the locking clip. These are where we will plunge the flat-head screwdriver and push down.
- Using the flat-head screwdriver, plunge and push down on each side with some force (give the screwdriver some taps). Alternate each side until the connector begins to loosen up.
- This is what the male connector looks like when disconnected. Check and make sure that it is clean.
Replacing the LED Board
There are a lot of screws. So, a mechanical screwdriver might be helpful.
- Now that the connector is removed. Remove all the screws
- Remove and replace it with the new LED board
- Resecure the LED boards with the screws
- Plug backing the connector
- Put back the clear panel with the screws
