By default, SmartTerra is set to Auto-rain mode. However, there are times when you need it to rain more often. Fortunately, there is an undocumented feature that you can use to make it rain at intervals. This requires sending several direct commands to the unit. You will only need to do this once.

Check out the following link on how to send direct commands:

Interval mode explained

By default, SmartTerra is set to Auto-rain mode. You can change this to interval mode. In interval mode, you can specify how often it will rain throughout the day. The rain interval will be randomly spaced.

Steps:

1. We need to change the rain mode from auto to Interval mode. Send the following command:

z0201

2. Specify how often you want it to rain between Sunrise and Sunset time. Change the number in red from 1 to 5. (example below tells SmartTerra to rain 2 times a day)

q0202

Note:

To change back to auto mode, send the following command:

z0202
